Camp Raintree – June 1-July 31, 2026
Applications Open March 2026
Set on a beautiful 14-acre campus featuring a fishing pond, campsite, outdoor amphitheater, and a one-mile running path, Camp Raintree provides students with unforgettable summertime adventures unlike any other in Lawrence.
Camp activities include swim parties, cookouts or campouts, fishing and boating, outdoor sports, cooperative games, daily swims in the Raintree pools, and engaging creative arts sessions. Each day also includes library time, where campers can explore a topic of interest or settle into a cozy chair with a great book.
Special events like the Summer Triathlon, Camp Carnival, Cardboard Boat Race, tournaments, and the Independence Day parade punctuate the summer, adding even more excitement to the season.
Every summer, children eagerly return to Camp Raintree to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. While many campers have been part of the Raintree community since preschool, others join during their elementary years. Regardless of when they start, all share in the joy and camaraderie of summer at Raintree. In conversations with former students, summer camp often stands out as one of their most cherished memories.
Camp Raintree is specifically designed for the elementary child. The youngest camper must have completed first grade, and the oldest camper must have only completed fifth-grade. Students who attended middle school are not candidates for camp.
